This was a relatively slow week in reading, but I did manage to hammer out a pretty good discussion of "Secret Empire". The series is four issues in (out of 10), and there are some interesting possibilities for where the series will go. Thanks to a comment on this blog, I also read the first volume of Rocket Girl, which is an absolutely brilliant series. This story follows a young police officer from the future who has gone back in time to stop an evil corporation from taking over New York. I'm super glad I got pointed in the direction of this series. If you haven't read it yet, give it a chance!
